If you are a PHD student or a researcher or family member of a researcher, register you for free on our Euraxess Occitanie-Est platform.
This platform will help you with all your administratives formalities before and after your arrival in France.
At the SAIEC Welcome Desk: the Euraxess Occitanie-Est office
The Euraxess office welcomes, with or without appointment, all PHD students and international researchers, as well as their families, from Montpellier, Nîmes and Perpignan to help them with their administrative formalities, free of charge, and to offer personalised assistance to:
- Prepare their stay: help with formalities for entering, staying and working in France (visas, work permits, residence permits, etc.).
- Settling in France: help with finding accommodation, health coverage, opening a bank account, etc.
- Facilitating the administrative procedures: residence permit (an appointment is requested), social security, retirement, unemployment, family allowances, taxes, etc.
- Facilitating integration: FLE courses, cultural and educational activities, schooling for children, etc.
The Euraxess France network
The Euraxess France network is a member of the European initiative that brings together over 600 service centres in 42 countries. These centres offer support to PHD students, international researchers and their families from the European Union and non-EU countries, helping them with all administrative formalities.
