The International Students and Researchers Reception Desk (SAIEC) is here to help facilitate your arrival an settlement in France.

You are an international student, PHD candidate or researcher and have questions or are struggling with the administrative procedures? Make an appointment in our offices. At the SAIEC's Welcome Desk, a team of polyglots will welcome and accompany you in your administrative procedures: verification and/or submission of residency permit applications, CAF and CPAM applications and assistance in finding accommodation. 

You are an international student and would like to be accompanied in your first steps in France? Join the International Mentorship, a personalized welcome program for international students offered by the SAIEC and the Crous of Montpellier-Occitanie in partnership with the the universities' international relations services. Available in Montpellier, Nîmes, Perpignan, Béziers, Mende and Narbonne, it allows you to be mentored by another French or international student in order to facilitate your settlement in the new city where you'll be studying.

You are an international PHD student/researcher staying in France? Discover our Euraxess Occitanie-Est office, a service dedicate to the reception and specialized services for international PHD students/reserachers and their family, in Montpellier, Nîmes and Perpignan. We offer you a personalized support and free assistance before and upon your arrival in order to facilitate your settlement in France.

Where and when to find us in Montpellier?

From January to July, the SAIEC welcomes you on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9am to 12pm.

From September to December, the SAIEC welcomes you from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm.
